Get On Your Seat Belts
For a Ride through the Muck
This adoration for trump makes me sick, like hearing from a friend that your wife was fooling around and then you wife tells you that it isn’t true and that she loves you and you show her the photos and she just tells you to grow up.
Or having your boss tell you how extremely valuable you are and finding out that the other “extremely valuable” employees are getting a lot more salary than you.
Or when you order tickets to the Somerset Patriots game from a website that charges you $20 more for seats than if you went right to the Patriots website.
Or that an obscene percentage of Americans believe trump when he says that he really won the election.
Or when the Monte Python black knight has had his knees and arms hacked off and he tells you it’s just a flesh wound.
Or the wackos who insist the government is adding COVID-19 vaccine to the flu vaccines.
Or the people who say they just know in their heart that trump won.
It’s a feeling something like really severe carsickness or heartburn that keeps on burning and how so many people are being gamed by a cartel for whom money is no issue at all or how trump, somehow, touches people of a certain warped persuasion and hypnotizes them into believing that he really cares as he winks to let you know you’re all on the same team and he sneaks away to a backroom and laughs uncontrollably at the gullibility of people, pretty much something he has done his whole life.
Or the sinking, stinking feeling you get when your doctor tells you that you are fine even though you know you’re not but you follow his advice because he is the doctor, you know.
And then there was that trick knife made of plastic and when you stabbed someone the “knife” collapsed only now we’re getting a real knife in the back and people think it’s a trick.
And don’t tell me about good people doing bad things or being hoodwinked or that the average trumper just didn’t know what was going on, he and she knew, they knew it well. It is like a drug for their miserable pains.
Or the seemingly, good-hearted, jovial uncle who jokes about the Yankees while he scams you with a phony insurance scheme and sadly how the uninformed won’t trust their guts that something very evil is afoot and how I need to be fumigated every time I see Tucker Carlson’s face.
On that note, I’d like to introduce you to a few people who are keeping a relatively low profile while they provide the brains behind trump, who himself is nothing more than a con man, a very effective con man, but still an empty vessel con man who would be nothing without his so-called advisors, which reminds me of another group of advisors for another con man who you might not be familiar with, including Martin Bormann, Wilhelm Keitel, Erich Raeder, Karl Donitz, Walther Funk, Joachim von Ribbentrop, Albert Speer, Joseph Goebbels, Hermann Göring and Heinrich Himmler, all members of Adolph Hitler’s inner circle who made it possible to carry out the Holocaust and World War II.
Which leads me to others you might not know about in the trumpian orbit, not the usual suspects like former Attorney General William Barr or trump lawyer and ranking wacko, Sidney Powell or the trump kiddies, or fruity Rudy Giuliani but according to a Senate Judiciary Committee report, people who have provided consistent, if behind the scenes, support and advice to trump. They include Rep. Scott Perry, R-Pa., one of the most pernicious trump loyalists among a gang of very pernicious loyalists, and Pennsylvania state Sen. Doug Mastriano whose names have become prominent in trump’s effort to pressure the Justice Department to nullify the 2020 election for trump. Perry is a member of the ultra-conservative, far right Freedom Caucus and Second Amendment Caucus and he voted against impeaching trump and last October he voted against a House resolution to condemn the QAnon conspiracy theory.
And Jeffrey Clark, who led the Justice Department’s civil division, and schemed with trump to devise ways to cast doubt on the election results. And Bobby L. Christine, who trump wanted named the U.S. Attorney in Georgia to replace Byung J. Pak, who trump said was not trying to find evidence for false election claims pushed by Trump’s lawyer Giuliani and others. And then there are those include 147 House Republicans who voted against certifying the election. Don’t forget them.
