Trump Et Al Leading All Of Us Down Road Of Democratic Destruction

Trump and his minions are spoiled children who refuse to own any responsibility for their actions, have no idea of how they are irreparably damaging the U.S. system of government and could care less while they willingly follow their leader down the sewer system.
They will ultimately find themselves drowning while their trusted leader escapes unscathed.
Trump has proven time and again that he is willing to drag down the nation with him and he has many co-conspirators ready to toss gasoline on the fire. Sadly, many believed trump when he said he was the answer for the nation’s problems and now refuse to see that he has no answers and is solely centered on self-aggrandizement and revenge.
There is no end to the absurdity, which naturally, begins with trump who last week claimed in a Truth Social rant that the classified documents found at Mar-a-Lago were “planted” in the boxes after they were obtained by the Department of Justice. Trump’s absurd claims came just after he was indicted on 37 counts, including obstruction and the unlawful retention of national defense information.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., defended trump’s hoarding of classified documents in a Mar-a-Lago bathroom because bathrooms have door locks. McCarthy was mocked with comments that bathroom doors are locked from the inside.
Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., an equally strident trumper, further explained that there was nothing insecure about storing the secret documents in a bathroom or shower because the club has lots of bathrooms.
“There are 33 bathrooms at Mar-a-Lago!” Donalds said. “So don’t act like it’s in some random bathroom that the guests can go into. That’s not true!”
Always filled with a thirst for blood and revenge, trump promised that if he again is elected to the presidency, he will use the power of the federal government to personally target President Biden’s family. Such action would create havoc in America’s justice system where the independence and integrity of the Department of Justice is a bedrock of democracy.
Trump had called on his lemmings to turn out en mass to protest outside the Miami courthouse during the arraignment. A small mob of MAGA believers showed up including Osmany Estrada, 40, who carried an American and Cuban flag as he paraded around the courthouse with a pig’s head on a pike, although he told reporters that he didn’t have a good reason for carrying around the pig’s head.
Among the pro-Trump figures was rapper Forgiato Blow who tweeted a picture of himself wearing a signboard with a QR code for a download of his new tune, “Trump Indictment.”
The gaggle of protesters was organized by Laura Loomer and political trickster Roger Stone.
Loomer, 30, is a far-right and anti-Muslim political activist, white supremacist, conspiracy theorist and internet personality. She was the Republican nominee to represent Florida’s 21st congressional district in the 2020 House of Representatives election, losing to Democrat Lois Frankel. Loomer has been banned from numerous social media platforms, payment processors, vehicles for hire, and food delivery mobile apps for various reasons, including violating policies on hate speech and spreading misinformation.
Stone, a former high ranking trump advisor, was convicted in 2019 on charges related with Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel investigation of links between Russia and the 2016 trump campaign. Trump pardoned Stone on Dec. 23, 2020.
At the same time that trump was surrendering to federal authorities in Miami, Fla., last Tuesday, his most religious, feckless GOP confederates in the House of Representatives were honoring the trump followers who violently stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. These traitorous lawmakers included the regular suspects, led by Rep. Matt Gaetz. R-Fla., Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Ariz. and Rep. Ralph Norman, R-S.C.
Gaetz led the so-called “field hearing” as part of how “the 118th Congress is investigating the weaponization of the federal government.”
Gosar offered his condolences to all who participated in the Jan. 6 riot, and noted that “you know how I feel about Ashli” Babbitt, the woman police shot as she breached the last line of defense protecting lawmakers in the House chamber.
Norman said the way the Jan. 6 rioters were treated is “heartbreaking.”
Greene offered her “deepest sympathy for each of you and all the pain and suffering that you’ve all had to go through because of this government.” She told them that they were the victims of “sick, evil people” and that she and other lawmakers had a “constitutional duty to object to Joe Biden’s fraudulent electoral college votes because we all believed that the election had been stolen.”
Greene also said she has the solution to trump’s indictment; simply defund the Department of Justice.
“This morning, I’m writing an appropriations rider to DEFUND Special Counsel Jack Smith’s office and entire investigation,” Greene tweeted. “I will not vote for ANY appropriations bill to fund the weaponization of government. I hope every one of my Republican colleagues will join me.”
Biggs tweeted his support to “defund and dismantle the DOJ.”
Some right wing lawmakers slightly parsed their words to avoid inflammatory rhetoric, but not Rep. Clay Higgins, R-La., who warned that the trump indictment was the government’s way to incite another Jan. 6 rebellion.
“My fellow conservatives, the DOJ/FBI doesn’t expect to imprison Trump, they expect to imprison you. They want J6 again, in Miami and in your city and in mine,” the Republican Congressman declared in a conspiratorial tone. “We will fight against this oppression. We are indeed, with every ounce of spirit, fighting against the insidious evil that threatens our beloved Republic, but We the People must fight against oppression legally, peacefully, and within the parameters of our Constitution.”
Biggs was equally blunt when he tweeted “We have now reached a war phase. Eye for an eye.”
Then there was Rep. Brian Mast, R-Fla., an army veteran who lost both legs in an IED attack in Afghanistan. Mast reiterated his overwhelming support of trump because “When I think of who I want to be President of the United States of America, number one I want them to be the biggest American narcissist on the planet.”
Mast said he wants a leader who will be “beating their chest for the United States of America” no matter what they’re doing across the globe.
“I want somebody that every foreign intelligence agency across the globe knows that that person will cut your throat in the end. And that is Donald Trump. He will go after you. He will tear you down. He will tear you apart. That’s the kind of strength that I want in the White House,” Mast said.
Witnesses who testified before the august group of lycanthropic lawmakers included the wife of Ronald McAbee, a former Williamson County (Tenn.) Sheriff’s Officer who is awaiting trial for allegedly attacking a police officer on Jan. 6 and dragging him into the mob while wearing a black vest that said “SHERIFF.”
Another was John Strand, an underwear model-turned-COVID-19 conspiracy theorist, who was sentenced to two years and eight months for being part of the mob that breached the Capitol on Jan. 6 and pushed past police officers.
Also, activist Brandon Straka, a pro-trump organizer and social media influencer who was sentenced to home detention and probation and fined for his Jan. 6 actions.
Also waiting in the wings was the aunt of Matthew Perna, a Capitol rioter who killed himself as he was awaiting sentencing on charges of witness tampering, entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds and two counts of disorderly conduct on Jan. 6.
There was Ed Martin, a former Missouri Republican Party chairman, who was an organizer of the “Stop the Steal” effort to stop vote-counting in key states in the presidential race between trump and then-Democratic nominee Joe Biden by pushing the false narrative of mass voter fraud.
And lastly, among the honored was Jeffrey Clark, a former assistant attorney general who helped then-president trump attempt to subvert the 2020 presidential election.
A few days after the hearing, Greene showed she will not be outdone by the other lunatics when she insisted at a House Oversight Committee hearing that she didn’t want her staff to be educated about the facts surrounding the government’s reaction to the COVID-19 pandemic. She grilled outgoing CDC Director Rochelle Walensky and used data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System to falsely suggest that COVID-19 vaccines had killed tens of thousands of Americans — including pregnant women.
Walensky tried to explain how the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System actually worked and how it did not reflect deaths from the COVID-19 vaccine. She offered to have her staff educate Greene’s staff on the system.

Greene would have none of it.
“I don’t want my staff educated,” Greene said. “You should educate the American people about what you’ve done of 1.5 million reports because they feel like you’ve done nothing and continue to say safe and effective.”
And Regeneration Nashville Pastor Kent Christmas, a longtime, trump zealot, suggested in a Sunday sermon that Christians should be willing to die for their faith in the person of trump. In a sermon at his Pentecostal church in Tennessee, Christmas said the Muslim faith has become so successful because its followers are “willing to die for their beliefs.”
“You want to know why the Muslim faith has had its advancements? It’s because the Muslims were willing to die for their beliefs. They were willing to strap bombs to their chest,” he said.
Christmas also repeated his purported prophecy that he said showed Trump is the rightful president despite President Joe Biden’s election victory in 2020.
“In the eyes of God, the president of the United States right now in the courts of justice in Heaven is not Joe Biden but it’s Donald Trump,” Christmas said in a May 15 clip on Twitter.
